Mangalore: Culinary talents shine at cooking contest

Mangalore, Aug 5: Harsha Events  in association with 92.7 BIG FM and www.charuscuisine.com organized 'Cook N Win –Bring out the chef in you' ,cooking competition show at Hotel Poonja International on Sunday August 4.

The event was into promoting the website www.charuscuisine.com which is run by Charulatha Prasad Rao. She has designed the website such that visitors can easily get the recipes of different dishes.

92.7 BIG FM and Harsha Events –a upcoming event management company in Mangalore has successfully hosted this cooking challenge .

The program began at 11.15 am with a prayer song. Harshitha KS, founder of Harsha Events delivered the welcome speech.

The cooking contest without a flame began at 11:40 am and participants enthusiastically prepared the dishes.

Meanwhile a few games were arranged for the audiences and the winners were awarded with gifts given by 92.7 Big FM.

After a time limit of 30 minutes, the participants had completed their cooking task and the judges declared the  winners.

Ramdas Prabhu, general manager of hotel Poonja international, Charulatha Prasad Rao, Lavanya Shetty, Rithesh from S.R.R Masala ,Shantharam K S, Harshitha K S were present on stage for the valedictory programme.

Nalini Chandrahas and Meenakshi Giridhar  were announced as winners. Rs 4,000 as the first prize and Rs 2,000 for the second prize were distributed along with an opportunity to become a guest RJ on 92.7 Big FM. The participants also recieved movie tickets sponsored by Cinepolis.

Harshitha K S delivered the vote of thanks .

The team at Harsha events consisted of Harshitha K S, founder and the members are Deeksha, Nilesh, Dilip, Gurukiran, Manasvi, Nagendra, Nikhil, ,Nihaland Nusrath, RJ Errol from 92.7BIG FM, Keerthan Shetty from Cinepolis were also present.
