Mangalore: ‘Tala Maddale Saptaha’, felicitation held

Mangalore, Aug 7: On behalf of ‘Yakshalahari-Yugapursha’ Kinnigoli, and Karnataka Bank, a ‘Tala Madale Sapthaha’ and felicitation programme was organized in Yugapurusha Convention Hall, Kinnigoli, recently.

Anil K, assistant manager, Indian Overseas Bank, inaugurated the programme.

Karnataka Bank chief manager Jairam Hande presided.  Kateel Temple priest Lakshminaraya Asranna blessed the occasion.

On behalf of Yakshalahari, amateur artiste Vishwanath Adyanthaya was honored with ‘Kalavidha Sanmana’. Mumbai businessman Dhanapal Shetty Thalipadpu, was honoured with ‘Kala Poshak’. Raghuram Shetty , regional manager, State Bank of India, Ramesh L Kundar businessman, and Lolaksha Karkera of V4 Channel, were specially honored on this occasion.

Administrator Harikrishna Poonarooru, Mumbai businessman Anil Shetty, folk scholar K L Kundanthaya, Yakshagana Bayalata Academy president Professor M L Samaga, Kateel Degree College Professor M Balakrishna Shetty, Global Bunt Association vice-president Aikala Harish Shetty, Athooru Bail Venkatramana Udupa, Shrinivas Bhat, preist of Kavoor Temple, Moodbidri businessman Shripathi Bhat, serpent priest Gopala Krishna Samaga, Rathna S Kotian, Kinnigoli Lions Club president Y Krishna Salian, Rotary president Robert Rozario, and vice-president Sathish Rao were present on the occasion.

Corporation Bank deputy chief manager D M Majumdhar distributed the scholarships.    

Yakshalahari president E Shrinivas Bhat welcomed, ‘Yugapurusha’ chief editor Kodethooru Bhuvanabhiram Udupa presented the keynote address. Dr Radhakrishna Bhat Perla and Vasanth Devadiga compered the programme. Secretary Shridhar D S thanked.
