Bantwal, Aug 13:  Indian Catholic Youth Movement, Bantwal Deanery organised a one day program called 'Yuvasamavesh - 2013' for the youth of the Bantwal deanery, wherein more than 220 youth witnessed the programme.

The programme was inaugrated by the Bantwal Vicar- Var, Fr Maxim Noronha in a innovative way by imprinting the colour with a hand sketch. ICYM Mangalore diocese director Fr Ronald D'dsouza, Bantwal deanery director, Fr Benjamin Pinto, Farla parish priest Fr Manohar, vice president of ICYM central Copuncil Joshwa D'souza Agrar, president of Bantwal deanery Alvyn Agrar and secretary Anisha Modankap. 

Anisha Modankap compered the inaugration ceremony.

The youth were motivated by the talks given by Brian Fernandes who is persuing PhD in Physics, spoke on  the topic 'Women empowerment'. Nelson Monis, lecturer at Sacred Heart college, Madanthyar delivered a talk on 'the role of youth groups'.

The programme showcased the street play 'hee Amchiss...' by Modankap parish youth. Games and an entertainment session was carried on by Sheldon Crasta, diocesan president.

The program was concluded by the positive evaluation from all the youth present. The programme which was the first of its kind of the Bantwal Deanery was successfully appreciated and conducted.
