Mangalore, Feb 7: The members of staff of Karnataka Bank Limited on Tuesday condoled the untimely demise of the bank's general manager Jayagopal Yekkar.
At a condolence meeting held in the bank's head office on Feb 7, t Bank’s Head Office on 07.02.2006, chairman Ananthakrishna expressed profound grief over the untimely death of Yekkar.

Chief general manager P Jayarama Bhat, general managers G K Bhat and N S Chakkera and other executives of the bank were also present on the occasion.
Paying rich tributes to him, the chairman recalled Yekkar's admirable qualities and said he handled various key portfolios with efficiency and elegance. The best tribute to him would be to work with dedication in the direction which Yekkar had shown, he said.
The members present at the meeting offered flowers to the portrait of the deceased and conveyed their deep sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family.
