Bantwal: Kaup JCI holds ‘Raksha Bandhan’ programme

Bantwal, Aug 22: A raksha bandhan programme was organized by the Kaup JCI at government higer primary school here on Tuesday August 19.

After inaugurating the programme Kaup Dandatheertha group of institutes, vice president Nilanda Nayak said “there is necessity of human values in teachings, the programme conducted such as ‘Raksha Bandhan’ helps to preserve the relations between brother and sister in the present dividing nuclear families.”

Kaup Marigudi administrative committee member Vijalakshmi Acharya briefed about the importance of ‘Raksha Bandhan’ for the students.

Udupi ZP  member Arun Shetty Padooru, Kaup Grampanchayath former president Yogish Rai,  school headmistress Savithri,  JCI programme in-charge officer Deepak Ermal, Jacret division Soumya Rakesh were present as the guests for the  programme .

Kaup JCI president Rakesh Kunjoor welcomed the gathering while secretary Ramesh Nayak  concluded with a vote of thanks .
