Mangalore, Aug 26: The 13th inter parish dance competition was organized for the parishioners of different parishes of Mangalore Diocese by the Konkani Natak Sabha® Mangalore in the Don Bosco Hall here on Sunday August 25.

The competition was held in three categories- below below 10 years, 10 to 15 years and above 15 years in ladies duet, gents duet, mixed group and married couple. 138 participants in 47 entries from 11 Parishes took part in the competition.

In the below-15 years category, Bondel parish bagged the first place while Cordel parish stood second and Madyanthar, Milagres and Cascia third place.

In the above-15 years category Bondel Parish bagged the first place, Modankap, Katipalla and Permannur second and Cordel and Puttur third place.

Sr Noel SRA, Shalet J Pinto and Nizel Pereira were the judges for the competition.

President Fr Peter Cyprian D’Souza welcomed the gathering. Dolphy Saldanha and Martin D’Souza compered the programme, Convenor Tresa Pinto introduced the judges, Treasurer Prem Lobo proposed vote of thanks and Convenor Praveen Rodrigues announced the results.
