Mangalore, Feb 10: The Father Muller College of nursing and Indian Society of Psychiatric Nurses (R), under the auspices of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, is organizing the 5th National Conference of ISPN – 2006 on the theme ‘Geriatric Mental Health - Psychiatric Nursing Perspectives’, from Saturday February 11 to Monday February 13 in the Academy Hall, Father Muller Charitable Institutions, Kankanady here.

T Dileep Kumar, president, Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, will be the chief guest, while Dr K Reddemma, professor and HOD of Nursing, NUMHANS and president, ISPN, will deliver the key note address.  Dr Baptist Menezes, director, FMCI, will preside over the inaugural ceremony on February 11.

At the valedictory function on February 13, Professor Dr M Shantharam Shetty, Orthopaedic surgeon, dean, K S Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore, will be the chief guest. Dr Lawrence D’Souza, administrator, Father Muller College of nursing and Medical College, will preside. Olenda Pereira, Dr Krishna Rao, Sr Maria Goretti, Sr Jyothi, Prabhu, Sr Gonzaga Pinto, Hilda Rayappan and Dr K S Kumar will be the guests of honour.
