Mangalore: Goonda Act evoked against Pradeep Mendon

Mangalore, Sep 5: The Mangalore police commissioner has implemented Goonda Act on Bejai Raja murder accused Pradeep Mendon, an associate of Ravi Poojary. He has been sent to Gulbarga jail.

Pradeep Mendon hailing from Udupi has 13 cases booked against him in twin districts. Among them, three are murder cases, attack on police and several others.

Sources have stated that the court has sanctioned and punished him on two previous occassions.

Pradeep Mendon who is the main accused in the Bejai Raja’s murder, was out on bail recently but now after Goonda act implemented, he will have to be behind bars for a year.
