Mumbai, Feb 20: John D’Silva, was elected to the post of deputy working president of Akhila Bharata Konkani Parishad, at the recently held Akhila Bharata Konkani Parishad meet at Goa.
John D’Silva, as a Konkani-speaking Tuluva-Kannadiga, has gained recognition in the co-operative bank sector at the national-level.
Hailing from Karkal, D’Silva is the editor of the co-operative bank’s handbook and is currently the editor of the 29th edition of the directory.
At present, D’Silva is the president of Fuddar Pratishthan, Mangalore and was the recipient of the ‘Rachana Award’.
