- AIR Counselling from March 1
Bangalore, Mar 1: The answer paper will be included in the question paper itself in the ensuing SSLC examination.
Hence the students cannot take home the question paper after the examination. To facilitate the students to have access, the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Broad (KSEEB) is contemplating to put up a copy of the question paper on the website after the examination everyday.
KSEEB will be introducing the new pattern of examination for SSLC, commencing from March 16. The website address will be informed later.
Question paper pattern
Question papers of all subjects will be classified under two categories — A and B.
Type A will carry multiple choice questions. First language paper will be for 60 marks, second and third language carry 50 marks each and core subjects, 60 marks each.
Science-1 carries 40 and Science 2 will have 20 marks.
Multiple choice questions carry four answers A,B,C and D. The letter of the right answer should be written in the box provided. No other entry is needed.
Once the box is filled up, it cannot be altered. If done, it will not be considered for valuation.
There will be no separate OMR sheets for marking the answer sheets. The question paper itself will have the space to write answers for both A and B parts.
The duration stipulated for last year's SSLC examination for each subject has been maintained this year also.
To clarify any doubts regarding the new pattern of question paper and to explain the mode of answering with examples, All India Radio will broadcast a series of progra-mmes Preparation for SSLC examination on its Bandani programme from March 1 to March 8 (except Mar. 4 and 5) from 2.35 pm to 3.05 pm. The programme will guide the students on how to answer in all the five subjects.
The programme will be broadcast simultaneously from AIR stations of Bangalore, Bhadravathi, Mysore, Hassan, Madikeri, Mangalore, Dharwad, Gulbarga, Raichur and Chitradurga.
