New Delhi, Sep 26 (IANS): A cloudy day with chances of rain lies ahead for Delhi Thursday, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
"The sky will remain cloudy, rain may occur in some areas," an IMD official said.
Maximum temperature during the day is forecast to be around 34 degrees Celsius.
A total of 31.6 mm of rain was recorded Wednesday. The showers that came Wednesday evening caused traffic snarls at several places in the national capital.
Minimum temperature early Thursday was recorded at 24.1 degrees Celsius, average for this time of year.
Maximum humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 98 percent. Minimum humidity was 59 percent.
Maximum temperature Wednesday was recorded at 34.5 degrees Celsius, average for this time of year.
