Udupi, Oct 6: Several people were injured in an accident that took place between a tempo and bus on NH66, near Bada Yermal Janardhana Temple, on Saturday October 5.
The bus which was plying towards Mangalore rammed into a goods tempo which was transporting rice. It is also learnt that the bus driver lost control over the vehicle and hit the divider.
Driver and few passengers were immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital.
Due to the accident, traffic on the highway was disrupted.
