Dubai, Mar 18: In rapid continuance of the recent string of unexpected tragedies, yet another sad news breaks out. Mangalorean youth Roshan Pascal (Peter) Saldanha was hit by a speeding car on the Al Wasl Road and he later died in the Rashid Hospital.
 
Barely out of the shock of hearing the sad news of Jossy Cardoza who was killed on the Sheikh Zayed Road on March 15, 2006, Roshan Peter  who was with his to be wife as the pillion rider, met with his unfortunate end on the same night on the Al Wasl Road by colliding with a speeding car. The pillion rider was injured and discharged from the hospital on Thursday.

Losing the lives  of two promising youngsters who were pillars of the community is indeed a news of grief and sorrow.
 
Roshan Saldanha (popularly known as Peter) was working for IIR Middle East a multinational company. He  hailed from the Nithyadar parish of Nirmala Padav, Parapadi (Karkala ) was born on 16th May 1978.  He was the son of Silvester and Juliana Saldanha  and has three sisters Jecintha, Helen and Lilly.
 
Sources to daijiworld.com said that, Roshan the lone bread winner to the family and had just returned from Mangalore where he had gone to attend his sister's wedding. He had planned to get married next few months but alas it was not to be.
 
"Roshan was always there to help every one, ever smiling and friendly natured Roshan's death has given us all a  tremendous shock  - not only to the family but entire his friends and well wishers" said his friends who broke this sad news to daijiworld.com
 
His  body will be taken to Nirmala Padav Parappady as soon as  the legal formalities are completed.

A condolence mass will be held in St Mary's Church Dubai on Monday 20th March at 2.00pm.
