The Q Branch CID police have seized 35 arms and about 5,680 rounds of ammunition from the vessel 'M V Seaman Guard Ohio', which has been impounded since October 12.

Thirty-three out of the 35 members on board the vessel were taken to Muthiahpuram Police Station this morning and questioned after which police completed legal formalities to effect their formal arrest.

As per Marine Traffic web, the vessel's last port of call shows Sharjah. This is a Fishery patrol vessel. If it was carrying the arms n ammunitions for anti-piracy purposes, they must have had a declarions/clearance form. This looks fishy. God knows how much bribe our Indian officials are gonna accept to clear this issue. . .

    Dear Readers,
Seems suspicious, 33crew members without their nationality with ?. Why our respective police dept afraid to normal information such as nationality, from where the vessel sailed, next port of call, which date she sailed from last port what they d in last ports "port Clearance". What type f cargo she is carrying. To trace out the history and part secrets behind this, there are few important base points, which we not interested to read.Let Police keep secret - but since this is voilation and plot against a unknown countries security. Investigation must carried out immediately and the real truth. Since the vessel is running under US FLAG, then we the INDIANS must look behind this.
