  • 'I Love coming to India, it’s emotional': Charles

New Delhi, Mar 27: Prince Charles, heir to the British throne, and his wife Camilla charmed their entry into India on Sunday as the royal couple began a six-day visit of a country they "love" and want to come again and again.

The arrival of the 58-year-old Charles and Camilla also provided a time-out for the English cricket team two days before they start a series of one-day encounters with the hosts in Ferozeshah Kotla ground in New Delhi.

"I love coming to India. It is emotional," the Prince said when he was asked how he felt to be in the country as he shook hands with the English cricket team and guests.

Asked what he found most exciting about India, he said, "Indian people."

Interacting with the cricketers after the end of the three-match Test series, Charles and Camilla posed various queries like how had the tour been.

The replies were generally that the tour had been wonderful and the team was gearing up for the one-day series.
