Udupi, Nov 11: The body of a youth who had come for a celebration with his friends was found in a bush near Admar railway track in Padubidri under Padubidri police station limits.

The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Siddartha.

It is suspected that he might have been fatally hit by a late night train and got thrown into the bush with the impact.

He had come for a programme at the house of his friend’s relatives near Admar Moodabettu railway track on Saturday, November 9.

After getting drunk at the party, it is learnt that he had refused to come with his friends and asked them to go.

As he had not returned even after Sunday, his friends started searching for him and found his body in the bush near the house where the programme was held.

Padubidri police have arrived at the place, conducted inspection and are investigating.
