Arvind Kejriwal being painted black?

Daijiworld Media Network

New Delhi, Nov 18: Leader of the Aam Admi Party Arving Kejriwal had black paint thrown on him and other party workers who were present beside him at a press conference by a BJP activist Nachiketa Walnekar.

Walnekar claimed to hold social activist Anna Hazare as his teacher and was venting his anger on Arvind Kejriwal for disbanding the India Against Corruption movement that Anna had started and for misusing his (Anna's) name too.

Kejriwal had been talking to the media about the various complaints that had been made against him to Anna Hazare. While answering the questions posed by the media, paint was thrown by Walnekar who accompanied this disruption with slogans that were pro-Anna Hazare. Pain meanwhile had fallen on Kerjiwal's left cheek, on national executive member Manish Sisodia's cap and senior lawyer Prashant Bhushan's hands.

The BJP, have on the other hand refused that Walnekar was part of their party. Senior party leader Sushma Swaraj said that if he was a BJP supporter he wouldn't have shouted in favour of Anna Hazare to begin with. The act was claimed to be an attempt at tarnishing the image of the party. The Congress on the other hand believed the incident was a publicity stunt by AAP. The AAP voiced that the act had been committed to lower party morale.
