Nippy morning in Delhi, sunny day ahead


New Delhi, Nov 22 (IANS): A blanket of light mist enveloped the city Friday morning and the minimum temperature settled a notch below the season's average at 11 degrees Celsius. The day ahead is expected to be sunny and pleasant, the Met office has said.

"The skies will remain clear through the day the evening will be nippy with light fog," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 28 degrees Celsius.

Thursday's maximum temperature settled two notches above the season's average at 28.5 degrees Celsius while the minimum was recorded two notches below average at 10.2 degrees.
