People want to punish Congress this time, says Modi

Jaipur, Nov 25 (IANS): BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi Sunday said that people want to punish the Congress this time.

"People don't only want to bring BJP to power but punish the Congress," said Modi while addressing a rally in Kota over 250 km from Jaipur

He said that at the time of 2009 elections, Congress promised to provide jobs to one crore youth but nothing had been done.

"Did they provide jobs....didn't they broke their promise," he asked.

Hitting out at his detractors, he claimed the Gujarat model could work across the country.

"Some of the people who are Congress minded say that Gujarat model can not be replicated elsewhere," Modi said.

"Just see in Rajasthan, there are 10 government run engineering colleges whereas in Gujarat there are 19 and the fees charged in Rajasthan by these colleges is Rs.45,000 while in Gujarat it is only Rs.1,500....don't you think Gujarat model can work elsewhere," he said.

Modi said that the country has 65 percent of the population that is below 35 years of age and if skills of youth is developed, then India can become a great power in the world.

Noting that the world wants teachers, nurses and software engineers in lakhs, he said India can provide skill manpower to the world if stress is given to skill development.

"The government in Delhi only provided a budget of Rs.1,000 crore for this, where as a Gujarat government alone is providing Rs.800 crore budget," he added.

After 2014, whether BJP win or lose, but, certainly Modi will be a history. The curse of innocent blood will either drive him mad or he will land in jail for his heinous crime against humanity. Now, for election campaign he is being used like they used Yeddy and Reddy in Karnataka. Once election is over, he will be like Dhobi ka .... All of them will start to pull each others legs for power and BJP will go into coma. Jai Hind.

Hi Manoj. You seem to be politically illiterate. People prefer Narendra Modi over Manmohan singh for many many reasons. The 3 successive wins proves that people forgotten 2002 Gujarat riots.

The UPA’s time seems to be over for two reasons. It has no strong leadership to offer. Second, it has brought “uncertainties of the future” into the psyche of Indian voters.
The Indian voter highly religious, emotional and quite superstitious, but realistic too approaches national insecurities with a complex mindset. Being the largest opposition party, the BJP is set to gain, but that’s more due to the weaknesses of the ruling party and less because of its own merit. This is the biggest strength going for the Narendra Modi.

Fekhu says that there are 19 government run engineering colleges in Gujarat. I want to know how many colleges he has started during his chief minister-ship? India is already providing to the world lakhs of engineers, doctors, nurses and skilled manpower. Nothing new! I wonder the figures he has quoted in his speech are true or fake, as always!

People will punish you Feku Modi. Don't play with the sentiments of people for you have given the opportunity to address at the rally's. You try to mislead the people, by giving wrong statistics and statements and people have not forgotten you for your crimes and carnage in Gujarat. Modi, you are very clever and cunning!! You have not visited the families of the Gujarat policemen killed on their way to your programme in UP, because you know that it would not have yielded political dividends. But you flew to Bihar to visit the families of those killed in Patna blasts as you know it you political publicity. True, this time people will punish you for your lies and atrocities.

God’s punishment greater & higher than people punishment. Modi, you already punished by God because of your barbaric crimes against humanity. May be people will forget but God never forgets your crimes. People may punish today to congress, but the same people will vote for Congress.
