Mumbai, Dec 2: The motion was set for ‘Rangasiri’ programme at Karnataka Sangh Goregaon, here on Sunday December 1 evening. Karnataka Sangh Goregaon president Payyar Ramesh Shetty and ace organizer Pooja G Kamat jointly inaugurated ‘Rangasiri’ programme on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Pooja Kamat said that Rangastala, theater troupe transpires one to dream world with variety of theater performances that indeed mesmerizes the audiences. Rangastala director Petri Vishwanat Shetty presided the programme.
Smitha Patkar in her first ever lecture spoke on Women’s Yakshagana shows during ‘Rangasiri’ series of programme.
Petri Vishwanat Shetty read his own short story during second series of workshop on short stories.
Payyar Ramesh Shetty said that these programmes are being organized in order to provide a platform for youth to exhibit their talents. It would also help the youngsters to explore their talent in creating literary works.
Jayakar D.Poojary, Rakshina Nayak, Meena Kalavar, Aparna Rao, Mohini Poojary, Gayatri Ramu, Ravishankar and others read their short stories.
The sub-Committees convener Laxmi Anchan and Smita Patkar and others were present on the occasion.
Sa Daya (Dayanand Salian) welcomed the gathering. Pratiksha Nayak rendered the prayers. Bharati Nayak introduced the guests. Karnataka Sangh – Goregaon honorary chief secretary Veda M Suvarna honored the guests with floral bouquets. Hema Amin and Ravi Ra Anchan compered the programme. Ranjani Nayak proposed vote of thanks.
