Celebrations for BJP in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal, Dec 8 (IANS): The BJP workers began celebrations Sunday across Madhya Pradesh as the party appeared headed for a thumping victory in the assembly elections.

Bharatiya Janata Party activists burst fire crackers, beat drums, distributed sweets and waved their party flag, celebrating the foregone poll success.

"The chief minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, is heading for the hat-trick in the state," BJP leader Narendra Singh Tomar said.

Madhya Pradesh voted Nov 25 to pick a new 230-member assembly.
