New Delhi, Apr 22: The Indian Cricket Board on Saturday dismissed reports suggesting that the ICC was unhappy about the BCCI sending a low key official to submit the Asian Test playing nations' bid for the 2011 World Cup.

"Any one Chief Executive of the four countries was enough to be present and the Bangladesh Board CEO was there," BCCI Secretary Niranjan Shah told PTI from Rajkot.

"We can send the bid by courier. I don't know what is the issue," said Shah.

India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are bidding to host cricket's flagship event in 2011, with Australia and New Zealand also competing to stage the mega event. The Asian bloc submitted its bid to the ICC at its headquarters in Dubai on Thursday.

Media reports said today that the BCCI had sent its office superintendent Dalpat Vadolikar alongwith BCB chief Mahmud-ur-Rahman to Dubai and that the ICC Chief Executive Malcolm Speed and Commercial Affairs Manager Campbell Jamieson did not come out of a meeting to receive the bid.

Meanwhile, Shah also pleaded ignorance about reports of former Test bowler Venkatesh Prasad being dismayed about not getting the India 'A' coaching job.

Prasad was coach of the India Under-19 team that reached the final of the ICC U-19 World Cup in Sri Lanka earlier this year.

"His contract has expired after the Under-19 World Cup and Prasad has not written any letter to the Board," Shah said.

On Robin Singh, who has been appointed as India 'A' coach, Shah said "he has not been given any contract. We will review his performance after the Eurasia Series in Abu Dhabi."
