Modi lauds Vasundhara Raje, Shivraj Singh Chouhan


New Delhi, Dec 8 (IANS): The BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi Sunday hailed Rajasthan's Vasundhara Raje and Madhya Pradesh's Shivraj Singh Chouhan for taking the party to victory in their states.

"Called Shivraj ji to congratulate him for BJP's wonderful performance in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly Elections!," tweeted Modi after the Bharatiya Janata Party headed to a thumping victory in Madhya Pradesh.

Chouhan is all set to become the chief minister for a third term.

In another tweet, Modi wrote: "Spoke to Vasundhara ji & congratulated her for the historic victory of BJP in Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha elections."

In Rajasthan, BJP is all set to wrest power from the Congress.
