Counting of votes begins in Mizoram


Aizawl, Dec 9 (IANS): Counting of votes cast in elections to the Mizoram assembly began at 8 a.m. Monday, officials said.

Over 81 percent of a total 690,860 voters exercised their franchise Nov 25 to elect a new 40-member Mizoram legislative assembly.
