Pakistan former chief justice Chaudhry seeks security


Islamabad, Dec 13 (IANS): Pakistan's former chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has requested for fool-proof security and a bullet-proof vehicle, claiming that he is facing threats.

According to sources, the interior ministry has directed the inspector general of police of Islamabad to provide security to the former chief justice, Geo TV reported Friday.

The interior ministry has also written to the cabinet division for providing the bullet-proof vehicle to Chaudhry.

The sources added that the interior ministry has directed that fool-proof security and a bullet-proof vehicle be provided to the former chief justice on a priority basis.
