Mumbai, Apr 26: Renonwed teacher, convener of Vidya Pracharak samiti Dr Sanjiv Shetty was conferred with the prestigious “Gurukal Ratna” award by Kannada Progressive Night School on Tuesday April 25.
The award was conferred on him in a glittering ceremony held at Parel-Boiwada. Ulloorguttu Vaman Shetty of Shri Adi Shakti Kannada school presided over the function and honoured Dr Sanjiv Shetty. Gunanath B Shetty, secretary, Nandikur Jana Jagruti Samiti conferred the “Gurukul Ratna” title on Dr Sanjiv Shetty.
Advocate Kadandale Parari Prakash Shetty, was the chief guest.
