2008 Delhi blasts: Bhatkal's police custody extended till Jan 3

New Delhi, Dec 20 (IANS): A court extended Indian Mujahideen (IM) co-founder Yasin Bhatkal's police custody till Jan 3 after Delhi Police said they wanted to question him to find the source of the explosives he allegedly supplied to two accused in the Sep 13, 2008 Karol Bagh blasts.

As police requested court to grant them 15 days custody to unearth the conspiracy saying that he will be likely taken to Karnataka, Additional Sessions Judge Daya Prakash allowed Delhi Police to quiz Bhatkal till Jan 3.

Meanwhile, the court sent another accused Asadullah Akhtar to 15 days police custody in connection with the blast in Greater Kailash area of south Delhi on the same day.
