Congress workers burn Kejriwal's effigy

New Delhi, Dec 24 (IANS): Over 50 Congress activists Tuesday protested for the second consecutive day outside the Delhi office of the party and burnt the effigy of Arvind Kejriwal over the party's decision to give outside support to AAP to form the government, police said.

The workers gathered outside the Delhi Congress office, located in Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg in New Delhi, around 2.30 p.m. and staged a protest for over an hour.

"They burnt the effigy of Arvind Kejriwal. The same group of Congress workers had also protested outside the Congress office Monday evening," said a police officer.

Aam Aadmi Party leader Kejriwal Monday met Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung to stake claim to form the government in Delhi after the Congress decided to give outside support of its eight legislators.
