Sunny day ahead in Delhi


New Delhi, Dec 26 (IANS): It was a cold Thursday morning in Delhi with the minimum temperature settling at 7.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average. The Met Office has forecast a clear day ahead.

"There was shallow fog in the morning but the afternoon will be sunny. The day's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 21 degrees Celsius," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

According to the IMD, the visibility at 8.30 a.m. was 500 metres and humidity 81 percent.

Wednesday's minimum temperature was recorded at 7.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average, while the maximum temperature settled two notches above the season's average at 20 degrees Celsius.
