PM satisfied with legislative efforts of UPA


New Delhi, Jan 3 (IANS): Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Friday said he was satisfied with the legislative efforts of the UPA government despite "unprecedented" parliamentary disruptions.

"I also feel satisfied with our legislative efforts," he said at a media interaction here.

"Despite unprecedented parliamentary hold-ups, we have passed several important laws that seek to empower our people and our democratic institutions," the prime minister said.
