Five fake doctors arrested in Gurgaon


Gurgaon, Jan 4 (IANS): Five fake doctors were arrested here for running clinics without permission, police said Saturday.

Those arrested were identified as Shankar, Promod and Amit, all three from Bihar, Mohammad Siddique from Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar district and Sandeep from Jind district in Haryana.

"All accused were arrested on the complaint of Harbans Yadav and booked under section 336 (endangering the human life), 420 (cheating) of the Indian Penal Code. They were also charged under section 18C and 18A of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act," a senior police officer told IANS.

All of them are undergraduates.

"The accused were Saturday presented in the court of Judicial Magistrate Manpreet Singh and were sent to judicial custody," the officer said.
