Fog hits life in Rajasthan


Jaipur, Jan 5 (IANS): Dense fog and chilly winds continued to affect normal life in Rajasthan Sunday, officials said.

Fog across the state till late Sunday morning reduced visibility leading to disruption in rail and road traffic.

At least 10 trains of the North Western Railway were running late by an hour to four hours due to the fog, an official told IANS.

A Met official said the minimum temperature was recorded at zero degree Celsius at Mount Abu hill station.

Ganganagar, Pilani and Churu were also at the receiving end of the biting cold with minimum temperatures hovering between one and four degrees Celsius.

Minimum temperature in state capital Jaipur was recorded at 9 degrees Celsius.
