Five killed in Colombia helicopter crash


Bogota, Jan 11 (IANS): Five people were killed in a helicopter crash near the town of Anori, part of Colombia's sub-region of northeastern Antioquia, Press TV reported Saturday.

There were no survivors in the incident, a spokesperson for a rescue team was quoted as saying by Caracol television Friday.

The private Bell 206-L helicopter, which was chartered by the military, went missing Thursday, the broadcaster said.

The victims include a pilot, three military personnel and a priest.

An investigation has been launched to find the cause of the crash.
