Milan, Jan 13 (IANS): Sassuolo head coach Eusebio Di Francesco said the system he employed was the key to his side's 4-3 win over Italian Serie A football giants AC Milan.
Sassuolo, who were once 0-2 behind in the first half, turned the table around thanks to Domenico Berardi who scored four goals Sunday night, reports Xinhua.
Di Francesco said his system worked well to help Berardi score all the goals.
"I went back to how we played last season, with a 4-3-3, and realized we were able to spread the play better. I am pleased that all the goals were well-worked team moves co-ordinated with Berardi's movement," he said.
"With the way the team plays, the coach has something to do with that, otherwise I just get blamed for the problems and receive no credit for the good performances," he said.
