New Delhi, Jan 13 (Agencies) : In a major rejig ahead of the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, the name of Corporate Affairs Minister Sachin Pilot has been okayed for the post of president of Congress in Rajasthan.
Senior Congress leader Janardan Dwivedi has confirmed Pilot's appointment.
The rejig, which is high on the agenda of Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, was being talked about in party circles after the Congress' rout in four state Assembly polls on December 08.
Environment and Forests Minister Jayanthi Natarajan resigned from the Manmohan Singh ministry in December 2013, triggering speculation that more ministers may follow suit to take up new roles.
Also, Pilot had earlier said that there would not be anything surprising in a minister quitting the government to do party work.
Pilot had said that according to the situation, people do different works.
