Israel allows entry of supply trucks into Gaza


Gaza, Jan 16 (IANS/WAM): Israeli occupation authorities Thursday allowed the entry of 280 trucks loaded with food aid and goods into Gaza through the Karam Abu Salem crossing.

Raed Fattouh, head of the coordination committee for entry of goods into Gaza, said the trucks were loaded with goods only for commercial and agricultural sectors, and aid.

Fattouh added that the Israeli occupation authorities had Wednesday allowed the entry of 226 trucks loaded with goods for commercial, agricultural, transportation and aid sectors in addition to pumping limited quantities of industrial diesel, transportation fuel and cooking gas.
