AAP to contest all 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar

Patna, Jan 16 (IANS): The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will contest all the 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar, party convenor Somnath Tripathy said.

"AAP has decided to contest all the parliamentary seats in Bihar in view of the tremendous response from the people and the overwhelming support to the party," Tripathy told the media here.

He said the AAP was determined to change the caste-ridden politics of Bihar.

"AAP will give sleepless nights to all established political parties," he said.

The AAP's membership in Bihar crossed the one lakh mark this week.

He said the party will finalise the names of the candidates soon. The first list of its candidates could be announced by the end of this month.
