Sunanda Pushkar's son gives clean chit to Shashi Tharoor

Bangalore, Jan 22 (Agencies): Sunanda Pushkar's son Shiv Menon issued a statement on Tuesday ruling out foul play and gave a clean chit to his step father and Union Minister Shashi Tharoor.

Stating that Sunanda was too strong to commit suicide, the note added that her death was an "unfortunate mix of stress, tension and wrong medication." It further stated: "Her death was peaceful, she passed in her sleep."

On Tuesday, the  subdivisional magistrate (SDM), who is heading the inquest, had said that Sunanda has died of poisoning and asked the police to probe the cause of poisoning, including the murder/suicide angle.

Shiv Menon's note said Sunanda and Shashi Tharoor were "very much in love, despite occasional differences which they overcame."

"I also do not believe that Shashi was capable of physically harming her, let alone the speculation that he could have taken her life," it stated.

The media speculation on his mother's death had devastated him and prompted him to speak out, the note said.

"I think there has been enough attention drawn towards her life - let her at least rest in her passing," Menon said.

Absolutely strange statement, can't be from any son from any mother on the earth. Looks all artificial. According to Post Portom Report, there was wound marking on the neck and the investigating agency asked 2 days to reveal the truth. Now it is already 3 days and no news on this topic.
