New Delhi, May 21: Rattan Chand Burman, patriarch of the Burman family owning the Dabur group of companies, died here on Friday night after prolonged illness, a Dabur spokesman said.
In the family tree, Burman, 88, is survived by two sons - Pradip Burman and Siddharth Burman - and grandchildren, one of whom, Amit Burman heads Dabur Food, makers of the Real fruit juices.
R C Burman was the uncle of V C Burman who heads the Dabur Group as the Chairman. The Dabur group was founded by R C Burman’s grandfather Dr S K Burman.
