Low-lying areas continued to be inundated. The city administration had a tough job on hand.
A mud retention wall on the KS Rao Road collapsed and the outflow of loose earth gulped a row of parked vehicles. A Tata light vehicle skidded at Attavar, hit the wall on the wayside and got damaged.
Except a house collapse at Babugudda-Attavar where a man got buried at home in the early hours of Sunday, there are no other reports of loss of life until evening.
