Billawara Assn holds Shanishwara scripture recitation program

Mumbai, March 3: Sri Guru Narayan Yakshagana Mandali of Billawara Association, Mumbai held their annual Om Shani Om Sri Shanishwara recitation programme of the scriptures at Billawara Bhavan in Santacruz east on Saturday afternoon, March 1.

The programme held under the guidance of C Suvarna was inaugurated by association president L V Ameen and Sudha L Ameen by lighting the lamp.  Harish Shanti distributed prasada at the end of the programme.

Damodar Kunder, Shivarama Kotian Kaleena, Bharath Bank's managing director C R Mulki, senior officials Professor Shekar Poojary, Shobha Dayanand, association vice president Nityananda D Kotian, Chandrashekar S Poojary, honorary chief secretary Jyothi K Suvarna, honorary chief treasurer Bhaskar V Bangera, joint secretary Mahesh C Poojary, Harish G Salian, joint treasurer Jayanti V Ullal, women's wing president Shakuntala K Kotian, Seva dal CEO Ganesh K Poojary, Gangadhar J Poojary, M B Kukyan, officials of local and joint committee and members were present.

Artistes of Sri Guru Narayana Yakshagana Mandali conducted the Shanishwara Parayana and Shanishwara pooje.   Devotees and priests present at the programme participated in the devotional programme. Yashodhar D Poojary, Gangadhara Suvarna, Prakash Paniyooru, B M Suvarna, Jayaprakash Nidwannaya, Vasudeva Sheyty Marnad, Jayalxmi Devadiga, Muddu Anchan, Balakrishna Poojary and others participated in the programme.  C T Salian, president of cultural subcommittee welcomed.  Secretary Dharmapala G Anchan proposed vote of thanks.
