Mangalore, Mar 27: 'Managing Uncertainity: Strategies for surviving and thriving in turbulent markets'– a national seminar was held in Arthur Shenoi Hall of St Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT), Beeri, Kotekar on March 24.

The function was inaugurated in the presence of Sushil Chandra, HR head MRPL the guest of honour Fr Oswald Mascharenhas chairman, MBA Dept, Dean Academics-Dr Rowena Wright, Institute administrator; Fr PradeepSequeira, conference conveners, Rajani Suresh and  Justine P James.

Sushil Chandra addressed the students on how in an industry from the inception till the end of a project various plans and research must be taken into consideration to avoid risk and uncertainty. He also advised and wished all the paper presenters who would present papers pertaining to uncertainity.

Fr Oswald Mascarenhas SJ,  addressed the gathering,and shared some of his wise and inspirational messages on how as humans we can avoid uncertainty. He started of the seminar with his paper presentation on “Managing Complexity”

Over 30 papers will be presented today from researchers who have come from all over India. Researchers from colleges like St Josephs, Bangalore, XLRI, NITTE and neighboring colleges from in and around Mangalore spoke about topics stressed on the fields of HR, Marketing, Finance and global sustainability.
