Mangalore, Apr 1: "Modi wave has spread across the country and there is no doubt about Narendra Modi becoming the next Prime Minister," said star campaigner of BJP and Sandalwood actress Shruthi, addressing media persons at the BJP election office here on Monday March 31.
"Our country doesn’t need a king. A soldier, who can save the country at all times, is the need of the hour and Modi is the person who has the capacity to save our country from all evils. The lifestyle that Modi has been leading has made him a role model to many poor people in our nation," she added.
"Modi is a very special Prime Ministerial candidate who knows poverty and mother’s love besides knowing how to respect and protect women. Modi’s mother used to work in various houses during his childhood and raised him with great hardship. The response towards Modi and the party in our state has made it clear that victory is on our side and we hope that at least 20 seats will be bagged by the BJP this time, defeating the Congress in the upcoming elections," added Shruthi.
“Modi will surely become the PM and our country will take a step forward in becoming a safe and secure nation and development will be at its best. Even though we know that the Modi wave has spread throughout the country, we have not been sitting silently. We are all working hard every day towards victory," she said.
"Mangalore MP candidate Nalin Kumar Kateel, during the last election, was just a BJP member and had won by 40,000 votes. This time, the voters are seeing Modi in him and he will win by a bigger margin," she said confidently.
Leaders Pratap Simha Nayak, Krishna J Palemar, Roopa D Bangera, Shakila Kava, Sanjeev Matandur, Divakar Samani, and Prabha Malini were present on the occasion.
