Abducted Delhi boy of 7 found dead

New Delhi, April 25 (IANS): A seven-year-old boy abducted Thursday evening, was found dead near his house Friday, said police.

Vasu was abducted around 6.30 p.m. while playing outside his house in New Usmanpur area in east Delhi.

His father, Mukesh, who runs a garment shop, told police that he was unable to find his son.

Police said the boy's body was spotted by passersby a few metres from his house.

"It seems he was smothered to death. Since no ransom call was made, it looks like a case of personal enmity," a police officer said.

A neighbour told police that the boy was seen with a man.
