Congress party betrays people, says Modi

Palampur (Himachal Pradesh), April 29 (IANS): BJP leader Narendra Modi Tuesday called the Congress a party that betrays the masses and asked people to give him 60 months to serve them.

"Congress is a party which betrays people. Read their manifesto, it is full of lies. In 2009, they promised to control price rise but they still haven't been able to do anything," Modi said at an election rally here.

He also called the Congress manifesto a "Dhoka Patra".

Further attacking the Congress, Modi added: "Dynasty has destroyed the country, so the country now needs a person who can serve people. I have come to serve you, just give me 60 months and I will change the country."

He also urged the people to vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party so a strong government can be formed in Delhi and he could fulfil their dreams.
