Mangalore, May 21:  Sri Esha Vittaldas Swami of Sri Sandhipani Ashram, also known as Kemar Swami visited the Jyothi theatre and watched the movie ‘Brahmashree Narayana Guru.’ The movie based on the life story of the great saint Sri Narayana Guru, has been running successfully in various theatres in the district.

The Swami was accompanied by Rajashekar Kotian, the producer of the movie, HJV leader Satyajeeth Surathkal and many others.

Speaking to the media after watching the movie, the Swami said, “I have watched the whole movie and it has come out really good. Narayana Guru is one of the prime saints in all of our country and this is one of the most memorable and role model movies of my life.”

“It is not enough if we just worship Sri Narayana Guru through various rituals. We must watch this movie to know about his life and history. If this movie is a grand success, then it is our gift to the Guru. It is our duty to support this movie. Instead of watching other unwanted movies and spoiling ourselves, it is better to watch this sort of movie and help in building a better society. It is a movie packed with knowledge and information. The Kudroli temple in Mangalore is also a gift to the Guru,” he added.

Addressing the media, Surathkal said, “Sri Narayana Guru is a great saint who preached one caste, one creed and one religion. He has been mainly worshipped by the Billawa community. Only unnecessary commercial movies run here, but people must come and watch this movie.”
