Warm Wednesday in Delhi, Thursday to be warmer


New Delhi, May 21 (IANS): The national capital saw a warm Wednesday, with the maximum temperature recorded at 38 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average. The Met office has forecast a warmer Thursday.

The maximum and the minimum temperatures Thursday are likely to hover around 40 degrees and 25 degrees Celsius.

"The skies will remain clear and the day will be warm," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

Wednesday's minimum temperature settled down two notches below the season's average at 24.8 degrees Celsius.

The maximum temperature Tuesday was recorded at 39.2 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 26.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above average.
