Abdul Sattar, Amit Deshmukh inducted in Maharashtra cabinet

Mumbai, June 2: The Governor of Maharashtra K Sankaranarayanan administered the oath of office and secrecy to Abdul Sattar and Amit Vilasrao Deshmukh at a swearing-in-ceremony held at Darbar Hall of Raj Bhavan on Monday June 2.
 
While Abdul Sattar was inducted as cabinet minister, Amit Deshmukh was inducted as minister of state.

 
Chief Minister of Maharashtra Prithviraj Chavan, deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, chairman of Maharashtra legislative council Shivajirao Deshmukh, speaker of legislative assembly Dilip Walse Patil, ministers in the state cabinet, members of state legislature, senior officials of state government and other invitees were present on the occasion.

Family members of late Vilasrao Deshmukh were also present during the occasion.
