Joseph Robert Noronha (56), commonly known as "Joy" to relatives, friends and acquaintances, an officer in Bank of Baroda and a part-time lecturer in Goregaon Night College, has been missing since the time of the blasts. But his diary is said to have been found on a platform after the blast.

Brother of Austin, the late Harold, Celine and Irene, he was one-time resident behind Milagres College, Kallianpur, Udupi.

He is a regular commuter of ill-fated first class coach at 6 pm.

The body of Joseph Noronha ("Joy") was found in Sion hospital at 3-30 pm on Thursday. It was identified on the basis of the scar of a heart operation he had undergone a few years ago. His Visa credit card and diary were picked by a lady from the railway station and were handed over to Noronha's wife after tracking down her address.
