DU gets over 2 lakh applications till Thursday


New Delhi, June 12 (IANS): Delhi University has received over two lakh application forms till Thursday, the tenth day of the admission process for 54,000 seats in 61 colleges, an official statement said.

A total of 224,509 applications (both online and offline) have been received so far, the statement said.

As many as 114,816 aspirants have purchased and made payments on the DU portal while the university has received 95,473 offline application forms from 18 centres across Delhi.

The admission process began June 2 and will end June 16. The first cut-off list will be released June 24.

For bachelor in management studies (BMS), 14,220 online payments have already been paid for 840 seats. The admission process for the BMS course began June 7 and will end June 18.

Entrance test for the course offered by Faculty of Management Studies is scheduled for June 26.
